  Testimonials From My Clients

"We used Glenn not only to buy our house on Lexington eight years ago, but when it came to selling it we could think of no better person to work with than Glenn. Glenn lives in the Highlands and is very knowledgeable about Eichlers and the neighborhood in general.  Working with Glenn when we decided to sell was pure profesionalism. Glenn went through our house and suggested what should be done to help sell the house. His resources were excellent and provided gardening, painting (inside and out), house cleaning, and staging. By following Glenn's suggestions of when to put the house on the market, what he suggested to do to the house to get top dollar and sell it quickly, and price suggestion were really valuable.   Glenn didn't stop there. He published our house listing and sent out fliers, too numerous to count, to local realtors, associates, neighbors, and prospective buyers.  Overall, we HIGHLY recommend Glenn. He is a total real estate professional who knows the market and can help you sell your house.

“My family and I had the good fortune of working with Glenn in selling homes twice in the past year. I have nothing but good things to say about the way Glenn does business. He was courteous, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and very easy to work with from start to finish. Even more importantly Glenn was very clear about what he could deliver and why, and in both transactions, which were very different situations, he delivered above and beyond the expectations we set together. It’s my pleasure to highly recommend Glenn Sennett to anyone who is thinking of using his services. I would welcome the opportunity to work with him again.”

“Everyone who has met or dealt with Glenn knows this already, but for you newbie’s pay attention! Glenn isn’t just a good guy, knowledgeable hard working and by far the best real estate professional anywhere, but he can do magic. Look no further if you need professional real estate help for either buying or selling. Glenn is the one to call, period. (I tried to keep it short here, but I would be pleased to discuss in more detail with anyone who has any doubts about Glenn’s ability.) My step dad finally lost his three year battle with cancer last fall. He left his house, and other belongings, in San Mateo to my niece, his natural 13 year old granddaughter. He appointed me executor of his will and living trust. I decided that the best option was to sell the house as we couldn’t keep it as a rental due to the interest only adjustable loan that was soon to adjust up higher than the projected income. The condition of the house was okay; well actually it was a mess! I was looking at least three months of hard work to bring the house up to sale condition. Did I mention that I live out of town and had no connections to get anything done here? Glenn assured me that he had done this many, many times, and his working relationships with local contractors and workers could get our project done for a reasonable cost and completed fast. Glenn outlined what needed to be done to sell the property fast; clean it out, paint the inside and out, and redo one bathroom. Glenn estimated the costs, almost to the dollar, when we settled. I held an estate yard sale to clean out all the other stuff that the relatives did not want. Glenn then took charge and had his crews transform the house to an appealing show condition in record time. Glenn ran the crews and made sure each task was completed. What a relief for me. He then staged the home and transformation was incredible. The house looked great! I didn’t think it was the same property. Glenn held his first open house and there were three offers!!! A lowball, an asking price and then one for above the asking price. Magical in this down market! We accepted the great offer and the house sold. The costs to clean up, paint, redo the bath, and stage were more than recovered by the sale price. I still can not believe it. No other agent could have done, or would have, what Glenn did for us. I highly recommend Glenn to handle any of your real estate needs. He is just the best and does what he says he will do. Thanks again for a job well done!”

“Buying or selling a home can be very daunting and it makes sense to choose the best realtor you can get. I would recommend Glenn Sennett to anyone wishing to either buy or sell a home quickly and at the best price. Glenn was the realtor involved in the initial purchase of our home and we turned to him once again when the time came to sell. Both times we had been exquisite service right form the initial staging services to the prompt closing. Glenn was professional in every way and made us feel comfortable and encouraged us at all times. We were happy with the end result. We will use him again when the time arises.”

“We sold our house this past summer (2008) within 10 days of listing with Glenn, and closed 5 weeks later. Glenn guided us and represented us well through the negotiations to arrive at a good price in softening the market. We gave him reign in prepping and staging our house, deferring to his knowledge and aesthetics in this area. Glenn is a good guy. He’s nice, personable, and was always available to us about anything during the sale process. Never were we in the dark about anything. We used Glenn because we figured he was our best bet. We weren’t disappointed.”

-- Bill and Carol Elms, San Mateo Highlands --

“Glenn was very effective in identifying the house with the specifications we were looking for. He then made the whole buying process as seamless and efficient as possible, while making us feeling comfortable and not being pressured into making a quick decision. And he does not forget you after the sale is closed, but continues to be a source of help when the need arises.”

-- Dario and Tomoko Boffeli, San Mateo Highlands --

"Thank you, Glenn, for all of your hard work and professionalism.  It was certainly appreciated during such an important time for me in selling my home.  In stark contrast to the initial event of purchasing my home, this was such a good experience.  I will most definitely pass along your name to any of my colleagues should they ever need anyone in real estate".

-- Kristin Taylor, Sunnybrae San Mateo --

“Glenn worked with us for over 5 years through several starts and stops on our end. He was patient, gracious, professional and always offered a smile. During the years we were trying to decide whether to move or stay, we went to almost every open house Glenn held. He never seemed to mind even though he knew we weren’t quite ready. When we finally did sell our house there was no doubt in our mind that we would go through Glenn…the buyer did as well. Our sale could not have been more pleasant. Glenn was prepared, organized and he added a level of celebration to the entire transaction. Glenn doesn’t cover the Hawaiian Islands or we would have bought our new home from him-but give hime some time!”

-- Sharlene and Harrison Klien, San Mateo Highlands --

“Being new to California is a big challenge but to then go and buy a house in an unfamiliar area- that’s even more challenging. Glenn came very highly recommended by a coworker and now I know why. Glenn guided us throughout the entire research, bid and purchase process in our new surroundings. He is always accessible, friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Despite a relatively modest budget Glenn helped us close on a wonderful home. He is a pleasure to work with!”

-- Alan Saporta, Belmont --

“We made it down to New Zealand last weekend. It’s beautiful here and so nice to be able to enjoy it after the whirlwind of getting things in order to leave California. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate everything you have done four our family over the past couple of months. Your professionalism and calm demeanor during the process of getting our home ready and sold were invaluable to us. The “Glenn Sennett System” you implemented in marketing and selling our home was quiet impressive. Needless to say, we were happy about receiving multiple offers and completing the sale at a very respectable premium about our asking price. Thanks for all of your hard work!”

-- Richard and Rae Nell Hicks --French Creek.....S.M. Highlands

"Just a note to tell you how much I appreciated the help you gave me getting my Aunt's house ready for the probate sale.  I feel you gave me the best advice as to what should be done and then took control and got the people to do the work.  I thought you got a very good price for the house considering its condition, the location and the economy.  You are a very honest, capable, and hard working young real estate man."

-- Marilyn Horn, Daly City --

“We would like to take this opportunity to commend our listing agent, Glenn Sennett, for his exemplary professionalism in selling our home, and getting the price we wanted. We always found Glenn to be so personable, informative, friendly, cheerful and positive. It was a pleasure working with him, and we found his enthusiasm to be quite contagious. Additionally, his outgoing personality helped him eliminate the personal stress we were encountering due to getting our home ready for the market. Glenn is definitely as asset to Coldwell Banker, and please be assured that we will recommend his services to our friends on the Peninsula!”

-- Ceil and Larry Feldman, San Mateo --Seneca... S.M. Highlands

“The entire family wants to thank you for all you did and do for all of us. It went beyond professional services and we do appreciate having some such as you to take care of us. As you know, we needed plenty of that!”

-- Dan and Pat Pederson --

“Glenn, thank you for a fantastic job! We never imagined that the home buying process would be sold smooth and (relatively) painless. It has been a pleasure working with you!”

-- Amy Hawman and Tony Russo, San Mateo --

“We’ve now been in our house for four months and we feel as lucky as we did when we first moved in. It has been a wonderful place to live with our new baby. Luisa is now four months and getting to be so much fun. Thank you for all of your help with our home purchase. We know we might either have lost the bid or spent considerably more without you representing us. It was a particularly nice touch to present the bid with the seller’s realtor even though you had to drive an hour to her office. You definitely can count on us for a reference anytime.”

-- Alina, George & Luisa Sanchez, Burlingame --

“You made it so nice in selling our house that our latest purchase seems really terrible in comparison. The solution to things seems to be “borrow more money”, makes the lenders want to lend us more money, in some weird way. Thanks for all your help.”

-- William Thibault,  Brandywine, San Mateo --

"Looking back on whole house selling project, you had all the expertise we needed, and made all aspects as straightforward and easy as possible. And you brought in a great team! I appreciate that you came over to help and advise so often!  YOUR THE BEST!!!

Because Glenn Sennett lives in the Highlands and serves the area as a realtor, he is extremely knowledgeable about what it takes to market a home here.  He has helped me both rent and sell the home I grew up in. When my dad could no longer live in the home, he advised me on what to do to prepare the house to rent and found wonderful tenants quickly. Needless to say, when I was ready to sell, I called Glenn. He made the process simple and painless. And it happened so quickly, I can hardly believe it is done. He knows who is looking for a home and what is happening with other homes on the market. He works with a great team of professionals. He is responsive and easy to get along with. I recommend Glenn highly.

Thank you so much,

Barbara

Glenn has sold homes for us in the Highlands and a rental property in San Mateo.  We were extremely happy with both sales.  Glenn guided us through the pre-sale process, handled all the house prep details, and marketed both the properties so they sold very quickly with bids above the asking price. We highly recommend Glenn.

Thanks again for all your help.

If you are thinking of buying or selling property in the Eichler Highlands of San Mateo, I have a name you need to write down for now or later!  There is a magician who is our go- to man!  Glenn Sennett is his name and you need to know him!  I referred him to prospects over the last 30 years! And never heard back anything but praise.  He recently helped us rent out and then sell my Mother’s house!  Whenever I thought of something of concern, he had already taken care it!  It was spooky!  He’d just say “it’s what I do!”  I can’t say enough nice things about him !  This is the guy you want when you need help!  Call him!
